Imagine Figma but for Extended Reality (XR). Strata (strata-xr.com) is a web-based XR design tool for UX designers to prototype and share spatial experiences. No code. No app installs. And certainly no 20-minute builds. Users can drag an drop to build a scene, add interactions, and share it with a single URL. All prototypes work instantly on XR headsets, AR glasses, phones, and even stakeholder's laptop.

Spatial design has a gatekeeping problem.
Currently, designing for XR is hard. The spatial design workflow has enormouse challenges at EVERY SINGLE STAGE.
- Need expensive hardware just to get started. People need an XR device to experience their designs.
- Game engines and developer SDKs are still the best prototyping tool. Navigating them requires technical expertise.
- Prototype sharing is painful. Getting a prototype in front of stakeholders means finding compatible hardware, side loading APKs, and complex setup, causing long iteraction cycles.

- Used at the University of Michigan to teach 3 XR interaction design courses.
- Won the Grand Prize at ByteDance WebSpatial Demo Day 2026.
- Won First Place at UMSI Project Expo 2026.
